Compliance
Compliance Built Into Procurement
FedMicro LLC is committed to maintaining strong compliance practices for U.S. federal, public-sector, government-contractor, and enterprise procurement.
Our approach emphasizes accurate sourcing, product traceability, country-of-origin verification, supply-chain integrity, and careful review of the requirements that apply to each solicitation, contract, customer, and product.
Trade Agreements Act (TAA)
FedMicro LLC places a strong emphasis on TAA-compliant sourcing for federal procurement.
Products represented as TAA compliant are evaluated based on available manufacturer, distributor, supplier, and country-of-origin information.
TAA compliance is product-specific and should not be assumed for every product in our catalog. When TAA compliance is required, customers should identify that requirement before ordering so the appropriate product can be reviewed and verified.
FAR Compliance
FedMicro LLC supports procurement requirements that may arise under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Applicable FAR requirements can vary depending on the agency, solicitation, contract vehicle, product, place of manufacture, end use, and purchasing method.
Our team reviews applicable requirements on a transaction-by-transaction basis.
DFARS Requirements
For Department of Defense and defense-contractor requirements, FedMicro LLC supports procurement considerations that may arise under the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
Where applicable, customers should provide relevant solicitation clauses, contract requirements, technical specifications, or sourcing restrictions so that appropriate products can be evaluated.
Section 889 Compliance
FedMicro LLC supports federal supply-chain requirements associated with Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act and related restrictions concerning certain telecommunications and video-surveillance equipment and services.
Where Section 889 requirements apply, we work to identify products and manufacturers that align with the applicable procurement requirements.
Country of Origin Verification
Country of origin is an important consideration in federal procurement.
FedMicro LLC works with manufacturers, distributors, and established suppliers to obtain available country-of-origin information and supporting documentation when required.
Because manufacturing locations can change, country-of-origin information may require verification for a specific manufacturer part number before an order is finalized.
Buy American Requirements
Certain federal procurements may include Buy American Act requirements or other domestic-preference provisions.
These requirements are different from TAA compliance and may apply differently depending on the solicitation, agency, product, and contract.
FedMicro LLC reviews domestic-preference requirements when they are specifically identified by the customer or included in applicable procurement documentation.
Section 508 Accessibility
Where accessibility requirements apply, FedMicro LLC can assist customers in identifying available Section 508 information, VPAT documentation, and other accessibility materials provided by manufacturers.
Availability and applicability of accessibility documentation vary by product and manufacturer.
Supply-Chain Integrity
Supply-chain integrity is a core part of our procurement approach.
FedMicro LLC focuses on sourcing through reputable manufacturers, authorized distributors, established suppliers, and traceable supply channels.
Our objective is to reduce procurement risk and provide customers with greater confidence in product authenticity and sourcing.
Counterfeit Avoidance
FedMicro LLC does not knowingly supply counterfeit, substituted, or misrepresented products.
We emphasize genuine products, manufacturer part-number accuracy, supplier verification, serial-number traceability where available, and responsible sourcing practices.
Product Authenticity
Customers should be able to rely on the products they purchase.
FedMicro LLC works to source genuine technology products through dependable distribution channels and established supply relationships.
Where required, additional manufacturer or distributor documentation may be requested to support product authenticity.
Export Control Compliance
Certain technology products may be subject to U.S. export-control laws, sanctions, licensing requirements, end-user restrictions, or end-use restrictions.
FedMicro LLC does not knowingly participate in transactions that violate applicable U.S. export-control laws or sanctions requirements.
Cybersecurity Considerations
Federal and defense customers may have cybersecurity requirements associated with their contracts, systems, or supply chains.
Where applicable, customers should identify cybersecurity, information-security, CMMC, NIST, DFARS, or other contractual requirements so that relevant procurement considerations can be reviewed.
Information Protection
FedMicro LLC recognizes the importance of protecting customer, supplier, procurement, and business information.
We seek to handle confidential, proprietary, contractual, and procurement-sensitive information responsibly and only for legitimate business purposes.
Accurate Product Representations
FedMicro LLC is committed to providing accurate and supportable information regarding:
Manufacturer part numbers
Product specifications
Pricing
Availability
Country of origin
Compliance status
Manufacturer documentation
Delivery information
We do not knowingly represent a product as compliant with a specific federal requirement unless available information supports that representation.
Contract-Specific Compliance
Federal procurement requirements can differ significantly between agencies, solicitations, task orders, purchase orders, contract vehicles, and individual transactions.
Customers should identify any specific requirements relating to TAA, Buy American provisions, Section 889, Section 508, FAR, DFARS, cybersecurity, export controls, country of origin, or other federal requirements when requesting a quotation.
Compliance Documentation
Where available and applicable, FedMicro LLC may assist customers with supporting documentation such as:
Country-of-origin information
Manufacturer compliance statements
TAA information
Section 508 documentation
VPAT documentation
Product specifications
Manufacturer certifications
Supplier documentation
Technical data
Documentation availability depends on the manufacturer, distributor, supplier, product, and applicable requirement.
Supplier Compliance
FedMicro LLC expects suppliers and business partners to provide accurate product information and to operate in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.
We may request additional documentation when product origin, authenticity, compliance, or traceability is important to a procurement requirement.
Continuous Compliance Review
Federal procurement rules, sourcing restrictions, cybersecurity requirements, and supply-chain standards continue to evolve.
FedMicro LLC is committed to reviewing and improving its compliance procedures, supplier relationships, documentation practices, and procurement processes as the company grows.
Our Commitment
Our objective is to make compliance part of the procurement process from the beginning.
FedMicro LLC is committed to responsible sourcing, accurate documentation, transparent communication, supply-chain integrity, and careful attention to applicable federal procurement requirements.
